KegLinkā€™s ingress protection rating was officially upgraded from IP67 to IP69K ā€“ the highest rating on the ingress protection (IP) scale! This is great news, assuring the ruggedness and longevity of our industrial design, but what does this mean in the grand scheme of things?

As our highly scientific Venn diagram shows, IP69K and IK10 are nice, but KegLink was already designed to rise to these challenges and many more. Having received the official ā€œthumbs upā€ weā€™ll declare ā€œachievement unlockedā€ , but weā€™ll also continue to raise the bar, leading by example and working with brewers to know whatā€™s important when it comes to tracking draught beer.Ā

For the uber compliance nerds in the crowd, IP69K covers AS 60529: 2004 and ISO 20653: 2013 and IK10 covers IEC/EN 62262:2002 and IEC/EN 60068.2.75:2014. For the rest of us, we can sleep easy knowing that our keg trackers will withstand any dust storm.
